•It’s been a turbulent and triumphant twelve months for Jasper in the Company of Others. There has been line-up shuffles, tours kicked about by extreme weather, high profile support slots and roof (of tent) raising festival performances. But 2014 sees them stronger than ever, with genuine talent, solid grooves and such emotional sunshine some people think the music has restorative properties. Oh, and a Ukulele too. Get ready to make this band your new ear-crumpet.

•Following the successes of 2013’s debut single ‘BlackBelt’ and the release of the album ‘Dens and Diaries’ the band have finally made it back into the studio to record a new EP with a sound that reflects all the highs and lows of the story so far. And thanks to their dedication to playing live as much as humanly possible JITCOO have managed to attract a substantial audience; making this new record and the EP to follow an exciting time indeed.

• With a new drummer (Chris Yeomans) and the addition of member Ed Roser on violin and electric guitar the JITCOO sound has evolved into something that surfs the swell of both credibility and commerciality. It is a sound that has won them support slots with the likes of Ed Sherran, Ben Howard, Nizlopi, Dog is Dead and Brothers and Bones.

•Finding bands that blend numerous genres is not rare these days but finding a band that does it quite like Jasper in the Company of Others is. Comprising of Chris Yeomans in charge of Drums and percussion, Will Hughes thumbing the Bass (and backing vocals), Jak Hayward teasing the groove from the Ukulele (and backing vocals), Ed Rosen finding the funk in the fiddle and Jasper; lead vocalist and acoustic guitar wrangler around whose creative foundation the musical township of JITCOO was built.
